It was a dream start to Blesk's racing career when winning at Goulburn on Friday. The 3YO son of Savabeel showed his class through greeness to get the job done on debut over 1300m against a not-so-typical Friday maiden in the country. He was met with a field of very well-bred colts & geldings from other metropolitan stables such as Waterhouse/Bott and the Hawkes team. Ridden by last year's Metropolitan Apprentice of the year Robbie Dolan, Blesk began well from barrier 4 and took up the box-seat position off a good tempo. He travelled strongly around the turn and knuckled down with his ears pinned back to defeat his rivals by 1.47 lengths in good time.

Blesk looks posied for bigger things in the future with the young colt destinted to improve, as his pedigree suggests when he gets over further distances. Congratulations to his owners Finemore Thoroughbreds, Whitby Bloodstock, Rifa Mustang, Bangaloe Stud, DR R Aboud, Sedgewyn, Mr M Chittick, Mr G Chittick & Mr B McCullum.
