Lightly raced and progressive stayer La Grisa won well at Rosehill yesterday securing her second win of the preperation. A scopey grey mare by French Sire Reliable Man out of Miss Scarlatti (Stravinsky) was a $180,000 purchase by DGR Thoroughbred Services from the Pencarrow Draft at the NZB Premier Yearling Sale in 2017. Her mother, Miss Scarlatti's was a very good mare on the track herself with her best day coming in the Crown Oaks G1 in 2008 where she was a good second to Samantha Miss.

Brenton Avdulla settled La Grisa midfield one off the fence and got a lovely run into the race kicking clear in decsisive fashion to hold off the late challenge of Etheridge. La Grisa is a mare who will definitely get further in time and she is a filly to look forward to for the Winter and into the Spring next year. She will head to the paddock this morning for a well deserved spell.

Congratuatlions to her owners Think Big Stud and Mr R Skerl
