First time starter Lillemor won well on debut at Gosford yesterday afternoon getting her career off to the perfect start with a dominant performance.

Lillemor, a daughter of Hallowed Crown out of Champion Racemare Polar Success showed good gate speed from her inside barrier to get the lead under young and talented rider Louise Day (a2kg). Coming round the bend she kicked clear in good fashion putting distance between herself and her rivals. Still inexperienced in the final 100m, she showed her greeness but saw off the second horse Rome in gutsy fashion. Rome, a son of Not A Single Doubt had some very good 2yo form to his name so it was full marks to Lillemor for seeing him off so well.

Louise Day commented after the race there was "plenty of improvment to come".

Congratulations to all her owners Twin Palms Stud, Ms K A Johnson, Mrs J C Johnson, Mr B S Johnson, Mr S B C Johnson
